We are holding a Lent/Austerity Lunch on Saturday 9th April at 12 noon.

The lunch will consist of a bowl of soup and a roll. Proceeds will go to Ukraine.

We have established contact with David Bute of Kreativity in Cherkasy, a major city south of Kiev.  They run a weekly church community, work with underprivileged mothers, the elderly, fatherless boys and the homeless. In 2014 they supported refugees from the East Ukraine wars. Currently they are providing two bomb shelters, one in the school, another in their café and operate a 24 hour helpline. They continue to buy basic supplies, food and mattresses, to give to their fleeing countrymen and women.

You can find out more about their work via their Facebook or Twitter pages Facebook  https://www.facebook.com/kreativitycommunity  Twitter: David@kreativity

There will also be an opportunity at the lunch to find out more about the work of Kreativity.
